Nearly 50% of the trips that I have taken in the past 3 years have all started with some insane flight deals.  I use the points and miles I accumulate each year to book my remaining flights. As such, I swear by receiving regular flight deal alerts so that I can quickly secure my flights to the next destination on my bucket list with ease.   Here are some of my favorite websites that send flight deal alerts straight to my inbox or phone:

My Three Favorite Flight Deal Alert Websites

• The Flight Deal is by far my favorite website for travel deals.   You can also sign up for daily alerts to be sent to you via email based upon departure city.  This website has been the source of most epic flight deals that I have found.

• Travel Pirates (also known as Holiday Pirates) gives you the option of receiving alerts via email, or via my favorite option, push notifications directly to your phone for flight and accommodations deals.   I cannot tell you how much I love looking down at my phone screen and seeing flight deal alerts pop up.

• Secret Flying ranks third for me for finding great flight deals but every once it pulls up something that the others don’t have plus it is always great to have several options for flight deal alert notifications just in case one of the other resources has a glitch.   You can also sign up to get daily email alerts. They also have an app but I don’t find to be as user-friendly as the Travel Pirates app.

Bonus Flight Deal Alert Tips

You know I love a good bonus so I couldn’t leave you without providing some. Here are 2 bonus ways to get flight deal alerts:

• Scott’s Cheap Flights – A lot of people swear by Scott’s Cheap Flights but I have never really gotten any great information that wasn’t otherwise provided to me on the other websites (often times a lot sooner) but I would be remiss if I did not mention it was an option.   This resource also has a premium subscription that you can pay for which may be better but I honestly have never been motivated to subscribe to it given all of the other free resources that are available.

• Twitter Flight Deal Notifications – I am never on twitter but I get twitter notifications that I check every day giving me updates on the posts of people I follow (HINT: Only Flight Deal Notification Providers). A Special Note
