Having a strong handle on all of the travel resources available to me for inclusion in my Travel Budget has dramatically increased how frequently I’m able to experience Luxury Travel each year. So I wanted to share my favorite 3 luxury travel resources with you to make sure you are not giving valuable travel resources away.
COMMON LUXURY TRAVEL RESOURCES
▪️RESOURCE # 1 – POINTS AND MILES FOR EVERYDAY SPENDING
Yes, you may already know about ways to earn points and miles when you fly, rent a car or stay in a hotel. But did you know you could earn points or miles for most (if not all) of your spending activities?
That’s right you should be earning points or miles for every single dollar you spend and if you are not, you are doing a great disservice to your travel budget. Points and miles are valuable travel currency that you may be giving away.
That’s why I am so serious about making sure I’m maximizing my points and miles earnings by doing a Points Earning Projection every year.

These are discounts or free services you get just for being you.
You the employee of a company that has access to get discounted travel services . . .
Maybe you are the alum of a college who provides its students and graduates with discounted rates . . .
Perhaps you are the member of a professional or trade association with discounted rates or free bonuses. . .
These benefits of being you often translate into steep discounts, complimentary upgrades, free lounge access, free WiFi, free meals, credits for free spa services or tours and the list goes on and on.
Think of all of the money could be saving if you did not let these perks of being you go to waste.
▪️RESOURCE # 3 – CASHBACK FOR EVERYDAY SPENDING
Cashback is a good tool not just for travel but also for saving more generally because it is a built in discount (and automatic savings account) for everything you buy online (and sometimes in store as well)
Are you getting a discount (or at least points or miles) on everything you buy? If not, you are literally giving money away.
